Chatty girls

It's been a few crazy busy weeks around the Robinson homestead.  We finally welcomed the last two girls to the flock.  We are now complete; 2 Barred Rocks, 2 New Hampshire Reds, and 2 Buff Orpingtons (the two little ones in the top right hand corner)

We've got some rowdy girls on our hands.  They also seem to make a huge mess as soon as we clean one up.  Luckily we have a room that is easy to clean and away from our living space.  I would definitely recommend having a separate space for your chicks.

Growing up!

We needed to update the brooder box with the new additions. This new space has more room for the girls to move around and stretch their wings. Lacy; our little red head has been keeping a watchful eye on her chicks.
